Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC), exit the DECC and head southwest on S 5th Ave toward W Railroad St. Turn right onto W Railroad St and continue for a few blocks. When you reach the intersection with Harbor Dr, turn left. Keep walking straight on Harbor Dr for about 0.5 miles, and you'll see the Great Lakes Aquarium on your left at 353 Harbor Dr.

  • Public Transit (Bus)

    From the downtown Duluth area, walk to the nearest bus stop on W 1st St & N 5th Ave. Take the DTA bus #5 (Canal Park) towards Canal Park. Stay on the bus for approximately 10 minutes and get off at the stop at 353 Harbor Dr. The Great Lakes Aquarium will be directly in front of you. Be sure to check the DTA schedule for the latest bus times.

  • Bike

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Duluth. Start from the Canal Park area and head southwest along the Lakewalk Trail. Follow the trail until you reach the intersection with Harbor Dr. Turn right onto Harbor Dr, and you will find the Great Lakes Aquarium at 353 Harbor Dr, just a short ride away.
