    If you are driving from Lutsen Mountains, head south on MN-61 S for approximately 6 miles. As you approach Schroeder, look for the Cross River Heritage Center located at 7932 W Highway. The center will be on your right side, just past the intersection with County Road 5. There is a parking lot available for visitors.

    Public Transportation

    Currently, public transportation options are limited in the Lutsen Mountains area. If you're relying on public transit, you can take a shuttle service or taxi from the nearest larger town, which is Grand Marais. From Grand Marais, you can use local taxi services to get to the Cross River Heritage Center, which is about 22 miles away. Make sure to confirm the fare with the taxi service beforehand, as it may vary.
