Car
From Lutsen Mountains, head south on MN-61. Continue for approximately 10 miles (16 km). You will pass Tofte and then enter Schroeder. Look for the signs indicating Temperance River State Park. The entrance is located on your right at 7620 West MN-61. Parking is available at the park; there may be a small parking fee during peak seasons.
Public Transportation
Currently, public transportation options are limited in the North Shore area. However, if you have access to the Arrowhead Transit service, you can check their schedule for a route that connects Lutsen to Schroeder. Once you arrive at the nearest stop in Schroeder, you can walk to the park entrance, which is approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) from the stop. Be sure to confirm the transit schedules ahead of time, as they may vary.
