Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head to MN-61. From any location in North Shore, follow signs directing you towards Silver Bay. Once you are on MN-61, continue driving for approximately 20 miles north. You will see signs for Tettegouche State Park. The park entrance is located at 5702 MN-61, Silver Bay, MN 55614. There is a parking fee of $7 per vehicle for a day pass, so make sure to have cash or a credit card ready.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, you will need to take a bus to Silver Bay. Check the local transit schedule for the latest routes and times. Once you arrive at Silver Bay, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Tettegouche State Park, as it is approximately 4 miles from the town center. Be prepared for a fare of about $10-$15 for the taxi ride. Ensure you plan your return trip as well, as public transportation may have limited hours.

• Bicycle

  For those adventurous enough to bike, you can take the scenic route along MN-61. This route offers beautiful views of Lake Superior but be cautious as the road can be busy.   If you are within walking distance of Tettegouche State Park, be sure to follow the trails connecting the park to nearby accommodations or attractions.
