If you're in downtown Rochester, start at the Rochester Civic Center located at 30 Civic Center Dr SE. Head northwest on Civic Center Dr SE towards 1st Ave SE. Turn left onto 1st Ave SE and walk until you reach 3rd St SE. Turn right and continue to 2nd Ave SE. Turn left onto 2nd Ave SE and follow it as it becomes W Center St. Continue straight on W Center St until you reach 12th Ave NW. Turn right on 12th Ave NW and follow it until you reach Silver Lake Park, which will be on your left at 770 W Silver Lake Dr NE.

From the downtown area, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Rochester Public Transit Route 90 bus towards the North Broadway Transit Center. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes, and disembark at the stop near 7th St NW and West Silver Lake Dr NE. From there, walk west on West Silver Lake Dr NE for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Silver Lake Park located at 770 W Silver Lake Dr NE.
