To get to First Avenue at 701 N 1st Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55403, take the Green Line light rail from Saint Paul's Union Depot station. Board the train in the direction of Target Field Station. After approximately 15 minutes, disembark at the Target Field station. From there, exit the station and head west on 6th St N. Continue walking for about 0.4 miles until you reach 1st Ave N. Turn right onto 1st Ave N, and First Avenue will be on your left after about 0.2 miles.

If you prefer to take a bus, start at the nearest bus stop to your location in Saint Paul. For example, if you are near the Minnesota State Capitol, catch the #63 bus towards the Metro Transit East Side. Ride for about 15-20 minutes and get off at the stop at 5th St & Washington Ave. Walk north on Washington Ave toward 1st Ave N (about 0.3 miles) and then turn right onto 1st Ave N. First Avenue will be on your right after a short walk.

If you are already downtown Saint Paul, you can walk to First Avenue. Start at Rice Park, which is in the heart of the city. Head north on W 4th St for about 0.5 miles until you reach 1st Ave N. Turn left onto 1st Ave N and continue for another 0.3 miles. First Avenue will be on your right. This scenic walk will take you through the downtown area and give you a taste of the local atmosphere.
