The statue is a notable tourist attraction and is situated in a park area, making for a pleasant walk.

From the Saint Paul Union Depot, take Metro Transit bus route 3 heading towards the State Capitol. Get off at the stop at University Ave W and Dale St. From there, walk east on University Ave W for about 0.3 miles until you reach the Leif Erickson Statue. The statue will be on your right, located within a park area.
