Getting There

  • Public Transit

    If you are starting from downtown Saint Paul, head to the nearest Metro Transit bus stop. Board the Route 63 bus heading towards the Mall of America. After approximately 20 minutes, disembark at the 'East 7th St & Robert St' stop. From there, transfer to the light rail at the 'Central Station' stop. Take the light rail towards Target Field Station. After about a 15-minute ride, get off at the 'Nicollet Mall' station. From there, walk west along Nicollet Mall until you reach 1st Ave N. Turn left on 1st Ave N and continue for a couple of blocks until you reach the park entrance at 102 Portland Ave S.

  • Walking

    Assuming you are already in the vicinity of downtown Saint Paul, head towards the riverfront. Walk towards the Mississippi River, following the path along the riverbank. You'll cross the Wabasha Street Bridge, which will take you into Minneapolis. Continue walking along the riverfront, and after a short distance, you will find signs directing you to Mill Ruins Park. The park is located at 102 Portland Ave S, right along the river.

  • Biking

    If you have access to a bike, start from downtown Saint Paul and head west on the Riverwalk Trail. Follow the trail along the Mississippi River, which will lead you directly to the Mill Ruins Park area. This bike path is scenic and easy to navigate.
