Public Transit (Light Rail)
If you're starting from downtown Saint Paul, head to the nearest light rail station, which is the 'Central Station.' Board the Green Line train heading towards 'Target Field Station' in Minneapolis. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the 'Target Field Station,' transfer to the Blue Line light rail towards 'Mall of America.' Get off at the 'Government Plaza' station, which is the second stop. From there, exit the station and walk towards the east on 6th St. Continue until you reach the intersection with Portland Ave S. Turn left onto Portland Ave S, and Mill Ruins Park will be on your left after a short walk.
Public Transit (Bus)
Starting from the downtown area, find the nearest bus stop. You can take Bus 16 heading towards 'U of M Transit Center.' Ride the bus for about 20 minutes and get off at the 'Washington Av SE' stop. From there, walk north towards 4th St SE and continue walking until you reach 2nd Ave S. Turn right onto 2nd Ave S and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Portland Ave S. Continue onto Portland Ave S, and Mill Ruins Park will be located on your left.
Walking
If you are close enough to downtown Minneapolis, you can walk to Mill Ruins Park. Start at the intersection of 5th St S and Hennepin Ave. Head west on 5th St S towards Portland Ave S. Turn left onto Portland Ave S and continue walking south. Mill Ruins Park is located at 102 Portland Ave S, just a short walk away. The park is situated near the Stone Arch Bridge and offers beautiful views of the ruins and the river.
