Public Transit - Light Rail
From downtown Saint Paul, head to the METRO Green Line light rail station at 5th Street and Minnesota Street. Board the light rail heading towards the Target Field station. After approximately 30 minutes, transfer to the METRO Blue Line at the Mall of America station. Take the Blue Line towards the airport. Get off at the Minnehaha Park station. From the station, walk east for about 10 minutes along the paths to reach Minnehaha Regional Park.

Take the Metro Transit bus route 21 from the downtown Saint Paul area. Board the bus at either the 5th Street Transit Center or any nearby bus stop on the route. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop for Minnehaha Regional Park (look for signs indicating the park). Walk south a short distance to the entrance of Minnehaha Falls Lower Glen Trail.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations available in downtown Saint Paul. Head south on the bike lanes towards the Mississippi River and follow the river trail. After about 30-40 minutes of biking, you will reach Minnehaha Regional Park. Enter the park and follow the signs to the Minnehaha Falls Lower Glen Trail.

If you are near the Mississippi River, you can walk to Minnehaha Falls. From the river, head southeast on the paths along the riverbank. It’s about a 1.5-mile walk, taking approximately 30-40 minutes. Follow the signs for Minnehaha Regional Park to reach the entrance of the park and then make your way to the Lower Glen Trail.
