Light Rail
From downtown Saint Paul, head to the Central Station located at 4th Street and Cedar Street. Board the Green Line light rail train heading towards Target Field, which is the direction to Minneapolis. Stay on the train for about 30 minutes, passing through several stops. Disembark at Nicollet Mall Station in Minneapolis. From the station, walk east on Nicollet Mall until you reach the heart of the mall, where you can enjoy the shops and attractions.
Bus
Find the nearest Metro Transit bus stop in downtown Saint Paul. You can catch the Route 63 bus heading towards Minneapolis. Make sure to check the schedule for the next departure. Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes, and get off at the Nicollet Mall stop. Once you disembark, walk a few blocks east along Nicollet Mall to explore the area.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing service. Start in downtown Saint Paul and head towards the riverfront. Follow the bike paths along the Mississippi River until you reach the Stone Arch Bridge. Cross the bridge into Minneapolis, and then continue on the bike lanes toward Nicollet Mall. The ride should take around 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, start at the Landmark Center in downtown Saint Paul. Head west on 5th Street, then turn left onto Wacouta Street. Walk straight until you reach the riverfront, then follow the path along the river until you find the pedestrian bridge leading into Minneapolis. Once across the bridge, head towards Nicollet Mall by walking north. This scenic route will take about 1 to 1.5 hours.
