Getting There

• Public Transit - Bus

  If you are near the Union Depot in Saint Paul, you can catch Metro Transit Bus Route 63 towards 'Como Park'. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at 'Capitol/Rice Street'. From there, it's a short walk to the Minnesota State Capitol. Head south on Rice Street, and then turn left onto Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard. The Capitol will be on your right.

• Public Transit - Light Rail

  If you are near the Central Station on the Green Line light rail, board the train heading towards 'Union Depot'. Get off at the 'Capitol/Rice Street' station. From there, exit the station and walk south on Rice Street, then turn left onto Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard. The Minnesota State Capitol will be on your right.

• Walking

  If you are in downtown Saint Paul, you can walk to the Minnesota State Capitol. Start at Landmark Plaza and head east on 5th Street towards Wabasha Street. Turn left on Wabasha Street and continue until you reach Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard. Turn right onto Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard, and the Capitol will be ahead on your left.

• Bicycle

  For those who wish to bike, Saint Paul has bike lanes that lead to the Minnesota State Capitol. If you are in the downtown area, head towards the intersection of 5th Street and Cedar Street. From there, take Cedar Street south until you reach Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard. Turn left onto Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard, and the Capitol will be on your left.
