If you are traveling by car from anywhere within Superior National Forest, head to MN-61 S. Depending on your starting point, you may need to navigate through various forest roads to reach the nearest highway access. Follow MN-61 S towards Duluth. After approximately 50 miles, you will merge onto I-35 N toward Duluth. Take exit 256A toward Downtown Duluth. Continue on 5th Avenue W and turn right onto Harbor Drive. The Great Lakes Aquarium will be on your left at 353 Harbor Dr, Duluth, MN 55802. There is a parking lot available nearby, and parking may incur a fee, so be prepared with some cash or a card.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from various locations in or near Superior National Forest to Duluth. The Arrowhead Transit provides services in the area. You would need to check schedules for the nearest stop and transfer to the Duluth Transit Authority's bus service. Once you arrive in Duluth, you can take bus route 16 or 17 towards Canal Park. Get off at the stop nearest to Harbor Drive, and walk towards 353 Harbor Dr. Ensure to have a transit pass or cash as there might be a fare for the bus service.
