Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards Vicksburg via the nearest major highway. For instance, if you're coming from Jackson, take I-20 W for about 90 miles. Exit at US-61 N and follow the signs toward Vicksburg. If you're coming from Natchez, take US-61 N directly to Vicksburg. Once you reach Vicksburg, follow Clay St until you arrive at 3201 Clay St, which is the entrance to Vicksburg National Military Park. There is usually no charge for parking.

  If you're relying on public transportation, check for Greyhound bus services that can take you to Vicksburg. Once you arrive at the Vicksburg bus station, you may need to use a taxi or rideshare service to reach the park.
