Driving
The West Virginia Monument is located within Vicksburg National Military Park. From I-20, take exit 4B and follow Clay Street (US-80) west for 0.25 miles to the park entrance. Once inside the park, follow the tour road to Union Avenue, south of Graveyard Road, where the monument is located. Note that North Union Avenue and Grant Circle are currently closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic for repairs. Entrance to the park costs $20 per vehicle, $15 per motorcycle, or $10 per person. Alternatively, annual passes can be purchased.

Once inside Vicksburg National Military Park, the West Virginia Monument can be reached by foot via the park's tour road. From the Visitor Center, follow the tour road. The monument is located on Union Avenue, south of Graveyard Road. Be aware that the National Cemetery is currently closed to vehicular traffic but open to pedestrians, with parking available at the USS Cairo parking lot. Entrance to the park costs $10 per person for pedestrians or cyclists.
