Getting There

• Public Bus

  To get to Crystal Lake from downtown Jackson, take the Metro Transit bus line 40 (also known as the Flowood route). Board the bus at the Jackson City Hall stop or any nearby bus stops along the route. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes, and be sure to keep an eye on the bus stops. Get off at the Flowood Dr & N Flowood Dr stop. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Crystal Lake. Head northeast on Flowood Dr, and you will see signs leading you to the lake.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Jackson. Start at the Mississippi State Capitol and head east on Capitol St. Then, take a left onto N State St, which merges into E Fortification St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with I-55, where you will take a right onto the bike path that leads to Flowood. Follow the path to Flowood Dr, and you should arrive at Crystal Lake in about 45 minutes.

• Walking

  If you are feeling adventurous and wish to walk, begin your journey at the Jackson Convention Complex. Head east on East Pascagoula Street, then turn right onto North State Street. Continue walking until you reach I-55. Cross over I-55 via the pedestrian bridge, and then turn left onto Flowood Dr. Walk straight for about 2 miles until you reach Crystal Lake. This will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.

• Rideshare (Uber/Lyft)

  For a more convenient option, you can use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Open the app and enter 'Crystal Lake, Flowood Dr, Flowood, MS 39232' as your destination. The app will provide you with the nearest pickup location and estimated arrival time. The drive should take about 20 minutes, depending on traffic.
