Make sure to get off at the stop near the intersection of W Capitol St and S Gallatin St. From there, it's a short walk to The Jackson Zoo, which is located at 2918 W Capitol St. Just head west on W Capitol St for about half a mile, and you will see the zoo on your right.

If you're comfortable riding a bicycle, you can rent one from a local bike-sharing program. Start at the Jackson Convention Complex and head west on W Pascagoula St. Continue on this road until you reach S Gallatin St, then turn left. Follow S Gallatin St until you reach W Capitol St, then turn right. The Jackson Zoo will be on your right after about half a mile.
