If you are in downtown Jackson, start by heading east on Capitol Street towards North State Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Lakeland Drive. Turn left onto Lakeland Drive and continue walking for about 1.5 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. As you approach the park, you will see signs for LeFleur's Bluff State Park. The entrance to the park is located at 3315 Lakeland Terrace. Once you arrive, follow the path to Mayes Lake.

From downtown Jackson, you can catch the JATRAN bus Route 2 (Eastside) from the nearest bus stop at Capitol Street. Make sure to check the bus schedule for timing. Ride the bus towards the Lakeland Drive area and get off at the Lakeland Drive and Old Canton Road stop. From there, it's about a 0.5-mile walk to the entrance of LeFleur's Bluff State Park at 3315 Lakeland Terrace. Follow the sidewalk along Lakeland Drive until you reach the park entrance.
