Duling Hall is a captivating event space located in the heart of Jackson, Mississippi's Fondren neighborhood. The building, originally constructed in 1927 as the Lorena Duling School, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Designed by architect Claude H. Lindsley, the school served as a cornerstone of the Fondren community for much of the 20th century. The building's architecture exemplifies the Tudor Revival style, popular for educational buildings in the 1920s and 30s. Hallmarks of this style include patterned brickwork, multi-light windows, and arched entrances. After serving as a school for many years, the building was redeveloped in the mid-2000s. In 2010, the former school auditorium was repurposed as an event space and named Duling Hall. Today, Duling Hall hosts a variety of events, including live music performances, weddings, corporate events, and private parties. The venue can accommodate up to 250 seated guests or 500 standing guests. Duling Hall offers amenities such as ample parking, audio/visual equipment, and on-site bar service.
