Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by entering the Natchez Trace Parkway. Proceed to exit at the nearest exit leading to Natchez, which is approximately 4 miles from the Parkway. Once you exit, follow the signs for US-61 South towards Natchez. Continue on US-61 South for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with Jefferson Davis Boulevard. Turn right onto Jefferson Davis Boulevard. The Grand Village of the Natchez Indians will be on your left at 400 Jefferson Davis Boulevard, Natchez, MS 39120. There is free parking available on-site.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, check for local bus services that connect to Natchez. The closest bus station may be located in downtown Natchez. From there, you can either walk or take a taxi to reach the Grand Village of the Natchez Indians. The distance is approximately 1 mile, which is a 20-minute walk. If you choose to take a taxi, it should cost around $5-$10, depending on traffic and exact pick-up location.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, Natchez offers bike-friendly routes. Starting from the Natchez Trace Parkway, exit towards Natchez, then follow the same route as driving to Jefferson Davis Boulevard. The ride is approximately 5 miles, mostly downhill, making it a pleasant journey. Once you arrive, you can lock your bike at the designated bike rack near the entrance.
