If you are in downtown Natchez, start at the Natchez City Cemetery, located at 2 Cemetery Rd. Walk south along Cemetery Rd until you reach the intersection with S Canal St. Turn left onto S Canal St and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. You will see the Natchez Visitor Reception Center on your left at 640 S Canal St.
Public Transit
Check if the Natchez Transit offers a bus route that stops near the Natchez Visitor Reception Center. If available, board the bus at the nearest stop to your location and ensure you get off at the stop closest to S Canal St. From there, walk south on S Canal St for about 0.2 miles, and you will find the Visitor Center at 640 S Canal St.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from the Natchez Trace Parkway Visitor Center. Start by heading south on the Natchez Trace Parkway until you reach the exit for S Canal St. Turn left onto S Canal St and continue for approximately 1 mile. The Natchez Visitor Reception Center will be on your right at 640 S Canal St.
