Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start on US-61 S from any location in The Delta. Follow US-61 S until you reach Port Gibson. Take the exit toward MS-552 W/Port Gibson and merge onto MS-552 W. Continue on MS-552 W for approximately 6 miles. As you enter Port Gibson, turn left onto Rodney Rd. Continue on Rodney Rd for about 1 mile, and you will see the Windsor Ruins on your right. There is no entrance fee, and parking is available nearby.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus to the Port Gibson station. Once you arrive at the Port Gibson bus station, you will need to arrange for local transportation such as a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to get to Windsor Ruins. The distance from the bus station to Windsor Ruins is about 5 miles, and it may cost you between $10 to $20 for the ride. Ensure to check the bus schedule ahead of time to plan your visit accordingly.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Port Gibson. Start at the Port Gibson town center and head west on MS-552 W. Continue for about 6 miles before turning left onto Rodney Rd. It's a scenic ride, but be prepared for some traffic and ensure you wear a helmet. The trip is approximately 7 miles total, which should take about 30-45 minutes, depending on your pace.
