Getting There

• Walking

  If you are staying near the Vicksburg Convention Center, exit the center and head south on South Frontage Road. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Levee Street. Turn left onto Levee Street and continue walking for another 0.3 miles. You will see the Vicksburg Riverfront Murals on your right side at 1201-1299 Levee St. The murals are located along the riverfront, providing a beautiful view of the Mississippi River.

• Bicycling

  If you have access to a bicycle, start from the downtown area near the Old Court House Museum. Head east on Clay Street and then turn left onto Washington Street. Follow Washington Street until it merges into Levee Street. Continue on Levee Street for about 0.5 miles. The Vicksburg Riverfront Murals will be on your left as you approach the riverfront area. This route is scenic and allows for a pleasant ride along the river.

  If you prefer public transportation, take the local bus service from the Vicksburg Transit System. Board the bus at the nearest stop to your location and request a stop at the Vicksburg Riverfront. The bus will take you to the riverfront area, and the murals will be within walking distance from the bus stop. Be sure to check the schedule in advance to ensure timely arrival.
