Getting There

• Public Transit

  To reach William M. Klein Park from downtown Independence, start by locating the nearest bus stop for the KCATA bus service. You can catch the Route 24 bus towards 'Blue Ridge' at the Independence Square. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest times. Ride the bus for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Gregory Blvd & 87th St'. From there, you will need to walk approximately 0.3 miles east along Gregory Blvd. The park is located at 8701 E Gregory Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133, and is directly on your left.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing program. Start at the Independence Square and head south on N Liberty St. Turn left onto E 24th St and then continue onto S Crysler Ave. After about a mile, turn right onto Gregory Blvd. Follow Gregory Blvd for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the park entrance at 8701 E Gregory Blvd. The ride should take around 20-30 minutes depending on your pace.

• Walking

  If you are within walking distance of Gregory Blvd, you can head to the park directly. Locate Gregory Blvd and walk east. If you are starting from the Independence Center Mall, exit towards the east and walk along E 39th St until you reach Gregory Blvd. Then turn right and walk about 1.5 miles. The park will be on your right at 8701 E Gregory Blvd. This walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
