Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from downtown Kirksville, head east on East Washington Street towards North Franklin Street. Turn right onto North Franklin Street and continue until you reach East Normal Avenue. Turn left onto East Normal Avenue and walk until you reach North 63 Highway. Cross over to the west side of North 63 Highway and continue walking north. After about 1.5 miles, you will see Chariton River Monuments located at 22795 U.S. HWY 63 on your left.

• Biking

  For those who prefer biking, start at the Kirksville City Park. Head south on South Halliburton Street until you reach East Washington Street. Turn left onto East Washington Street and then turn right onto North Franklin Street. Continue on North Franklin Street until you reach East Normal Avenue. Turn left onto East Normal Avenue and then turn right onto North 63 Highway. Follow North 63 Highway north for about 1.5 miles. Chariton River Monuments will be on your left at 22795 U.S. HWY 63.

• Public Transportation

  Currently, there is limited public transportation available in Kirksville. However, you can check with local service providers for any available routes that may take you towards the area of North 63 Highway. If you can get a ride to the nearest bus stop along North 63 Highway, you can walk to Chariton River Monuments, which is located at 22795 U.S. HWY 63.
