Cross over to the west side of North 63 Highway and continue walking north. After about 1.5 miles, you will see Chariton River Monuments located at 22795 U.S. HWY 63 on your left.

    For those who prefer biking, start at the Kirksville City Park. Head south on South Halliburton Street until you reach East Washington Street. Turn left onto East Washington Street and then turn right onto North Franklin Street. Continue on North Franklin Street until you reach East Normal Avenue. Turn left onto East Normal Avenue and then turn right onto North 63 Highway. Follow North 63 Highway north for about 1.5 miles. Chariton River Monuments will be on your left at 22795 U.S. HWY 63.
