Car
If you are driving, start by heading west on US-62 W from your location in Ozarks. Continue on US-62 W for approximately 20 miles until you reach the junction with AR-5 S. Take the exit toward AR-5 S and merge onto AR-5 S. Stay on AR-5 S for about 15 miles. As you approach Mountain View, turn left onto Park Ave. After about 0.5 miles, the Ozark Folk Center State Park will be on your right at 1032 Park Ave, Mountain View, AR 72560.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, check local bus schedules or shuttle services that may operate in the Ozarks area. You will likely need to take a bus to Mountain View, which is the nearest town to the Ozark Folk Center State Park. Once you arrive in Mountain View, you can use a taxi or rideshare service to reach the park. The park is located about 2 miles from the Mountain View bus station, so a short taxi ride will be necessary. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
Bicycle
For the adventurous, biking can be a great way to explore the Ozarks! If you're in Mountain View, you can bike to the Ozark Folk Center State Park. Start from the center of Mountain View and head south on Park Ave. It’s a straight route of approximately 2 miles. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic laws while biking.
Walking
If you are nearby and prefer to walk, the Ozark Folk Center State Park is accessible from the surrounding areas of Mountain View. From downtown Mountain View, head south on Park Ave for about 2 miles. The park will be on your right. This is a pleasant walk that allows you to enjoy the local scenery.
