A major win came in 1993 when they were awarded Grand Champion in shoulder at the Memphis in May World Championship BBQ Cooking Contest. This win propelled them into the prestigious Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational BBQ Contest, where they secured 1st place overall in Chicken.After years of catering, Mike, with Zach, opened Mike & Zach's BBQ To-Go in February 2007.
