If you are starting from downtown St. Louis, take the MetroLink light rail from the 8th & Pine station towards the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 station. Get off at the Grand station. Once you exit the station, walk south on Grand Boulevard. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the Compton Hill Water Tower located at 1700-1898 S Grand Blvd.

From Forest Park, take the MetroBus Route 10 (Gravois-Lindell) from the Forest Park-DeBaliviere station. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at Grand & Arsenal.
