Transfer to Bus Route 73 (Carondelet) and ride until you reach the stop at Grand & Hartford. From there, walk south on Grand Boulevard for about 5 minutes to reach Compton Hill Water Tower.

If you have access to a bike, start from the St. Louis Riverfront and head southwest on the Riverfront Trail. Merge onto S Broadway St and continue until you reach the intersection with Arsenal St. Turn left on Arsenal and then right onto Grand Boulevard.
