Public Transport

From Chișinău International Airport (KIV), take bus route 30 to the main Chișinău bus station (Autogara). From there, several daily buses and minibuses (marshrutkas) travel to Cahul. The journey takes approximately 3-4 hours. Tickets can be purchased at the bus station. Expect to pay around 80-130 MDL for the bus fare.

Taxi

Taxis are available from Chișinău International Airport (KIV) to Cahul, offering a direct but more expensive option. The journey takes around 2.5 hours. Expect to pay between 700-900 MDL for the trip. Ride-sharing apps like Uber and Lyft are not available in Moldova. It's advisable to negotiate the fare beforehand or use a taxi with a meter.

Walking

Cahul is a relatively small and walkable city. Once you arrive in the city center, most key attractions, such as the Central Market, parks, and cultural sites, are within easy walking distance.
