Getting There

  • Public Transport

    To reach the Bison Reserve via public transport, begin at the main visitor center of Rudi-Arionești Nature Reserve. Take a local bus or shared minivan towards the town of Rîșcani. Upon arrival in Rîșcani, transfer to a bus that is heading towards the village of Rudi. Once in Rudi, you may need to walk approximately 3 km to reach the reserve entrance. Bus fare costs typically 10-20 MDL.

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Rudi-Arionești Nature Reserve. Head southeast on the main road (DN2) towards the village of Rudi. Continue straight for approximately 10 km until you reach the intersection with DN1. Turn right onto DN1 and follow it for about 15 km. Look for signs directing you to the Bison Reserve, which is located off the main road. There is a parking area available near the entrance.

  • Walking

    If you are already within Rudi-Arionești Nature Reserve and prefer to walk, you can hike towards Bison Reserve. Follow marked trails leading southeast from the visitor center. The hike is approximately 6 km and should take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Ensure you have suitable footwear and carry water, as the terrain can be uneven.
