From central Soroca, the Candle of Gratitude is located on a hill overlooking the Dniester River. Walking from the city center will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Follow Strada Independenței towards the river, then turn onto Strada Lumânării, which leads to the base of the hill. Be prepared for a climb of over 600 steps to reach the monument.

Local minibuses (marshrutkas) operate in Soroca and can take you closer to the Candle of Gratitude. Ask a driver or local for the correct route to Strada Lumânării. From the minibus stop, there will still be a climb up the steps to the monument. A single fare on a minibus is around 6 MDL.

Taxis are available in Soroca and can take you directly to the base of the hill where the steps to the Candle of Gratitude begin. A short taxi ride from the city center should cost approximately 30-50 MDL. It's advisable to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
