Getting There
Walking
From Fontvieille, start at the Fontvieille Port. Head north along the waterfront promenade, enjoying the beautiful sea views. Continue walking until you reach the roundabout at the end of the port. From the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue des Ligures. Follow this avenue until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Costa. Turn left onto Avenue de la Costa and continue straight. You will pass by the lovely shops and cafes along the way. Keep walking until you reach the bus stop named 'Monte Carlo - Place des Moulins.'
Public Transport (Bus)
At the bus stop 'Monte Carlo - Place des Moulins,' board the bus number 1 or 2 heading towards 'Sanremo.' Stay on the bus for approximately 45 minutes. The bus will take you through the beautiful coastal scenery and into Italy. Alight at the 'Sanremo' bus station. From the bus station, you can either walk or take a taxi to Monte Bignone.
Walking
Once you arrive at the Sanremo bus station, exit and head towards Via Matteotti. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the traffic light. At the traffic light, cross the street and continue walking straight on Via Martiri della Libertà. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer. You will start to see signs for Monte Bignone. Turn right onto Strada Provinciale 1 and follow the signs leading you up the mountain. The walk may be steep, so take your time and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
