Getting there

Walking

La Rascasse is located at 1 Quai Antoine 1er, in the port area. From the Place du Casino, walk southeast along Avenue des Beaux-Arts, then turn right onto Avenue de Monte Carlo. Continue onto Avenue J.F. Kennedy, then turn right onto Quai Antoine 1er. La Rascasse will be on your left. The walk is approximately 15 minutes. No costs involved.

Public Transport

The Compagnie des Autobus de Monaco (CAM) operates several bus routes that stop near La Rascasse. Check the local bus schedule for the most convenient route from your location. A single ticket costs €2 if purchased on the bus or €1.50 if purchased in advance via the Monapass app or at ticket machines. A day pass for unlimited rides is €5.50.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available in Monaco. A taxi ride within Monaco has a flat rate of €18 for an instant order or pick-up. Pre-booking costs €28. Keep in mind that traffic can increase the cost.

Parking

If driving, there are several public parking lots near La Rascasse. Parking des Pêcheurs is a convenient choice. Parking rates are consistent throughout the city, with the exception of six specific parking areas. If you park for less than an hour, parking is free. For longer periods, rates start at €2.80 for 1 hour and 15 minutes and go up to €7.30 for 2 hours. The cost for 24-hour parking is €24.

Visitors can enjoy local and international cuisine, paired with cocktails and wines.La Rascasse is particularly famous for its location on the Monaco Grand Prix circuit, at the Rascasse corner. Every F1 driver passes by La Rascasse to get from the paddock to the pit lane. During the Grand Prix, it's a prime spot for viewing, though very expensive. The corner itself was established in 1973 after a municipal swimming pool was built.
