From La Rousse, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the Monaco Grand Prix Circuit. Take bus number 100 towards Menton. Enjoy the scenic views along the coast. Get off at the 'Nice' stop, which is the main bus station in Nice. From there, you can easily walk to Old Nice, which is just a 15-minute stroll away.
Train
Walk to the nearest train station, Monte Carlo, which is a short distance from La Rousse. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Nice Ville. The train journey takes about 20 minutes. When you arrive at Nice Ville station, exit and head towards Avenue Jean Médecin. Follow this avenue straight for about 15 minutes, and you will reach Old Nice.
Walking
If you prefer walking, start from the Casino de Monte-Carlo. Head down Avenue des Spélugues towards the coast. Once you reach Boulevard Louis II, turn left and walk along the waterfront. Continue until you reach the Port of Monaco, then take the path leading to the train station. From there, you can follow the directions for either bus or train to reach Nice.
Bicycle
For a more active option, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in La Rousse. Head towards the coastal road, following the signs towards Nice. The cycle route is well-marked and offers beautiful views of the Mediterranean. The ride to Old Nice will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.
