Walking
From the center of La Rousse, head south towards Avenue de la Madone. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Boulevard d'Italie. Turn right on Boulevard d'Italie and walk until you reach the promenade. Once at the promenade, continue walking west along the coast until you reach the Port of Nice. At the port, follow the signs to the tram station for Line 2.
Tram
Take Tram Line 2 from the Port of Nice station towards 'Jean Médecin'. Ride for 5 stops until you reach the 'Jean Médecin' stop. Here, transfer to Tram Line 1 towards 'Hôpital Pasteur'. Ride for 3 stops and get off at 'Gare Thiers'. From there, you can walk to Pl. Pierre Gautier by heading east on Avenue Thiers and then turning left onto Rue de l'Hotel des Postes which leads to Pl. Pierre Gautier.
Bus
From La Rousse, walk to the nearest bus stop on Boulevard d'Italie. Take Bus Line 100 towards Nice. Ride for approximately 30 minutes until you reach 'Nice - Gare Routière'. From there, walk east on Avenue Thiers for about 10 minutes until you reach Pl. Pierre Gautier.
