Walking
To reach Monte Carlo from the central area of Monaco-Ville, start at the Monaco-Ville Cathedral (Cathedral of Our Lady Immaculate). Head north on Avenue Saint-Martin, then take a right onto Rue des Remparts. Continue straight until you reach Avenue de la République. Turn left and follow the road as it curves to the right. You will then enter Monte Carlo. The distance is approximately 1.2 kilometers and will take about 15-20 minutes to walk.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the Monaco-Ville area, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the bottom of the hill on Avenue de la République. Take Bus Line 1 towards Monte Carlo. The bus ride will take approximately 5 minutes. Get off at the Monte Carlo stop and walk towards the iconic Casino de Monte-Carlo, which is the centerpiece of the area.
