    Train

    To reach Old Nice from Monte Carlo, start by heading to the Monte Carlo train station, 'Gare de Monaco'. From the station, take a train towards Nice. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Nice Ville station, exit the station and follow the signs to the tram station located just outside. Take tram line 1 towards 'Hôpital Pasteur'. Alight at 'Jean Médecin' stop. From there, walk straight down Avenue Jean Médecin until you reach Place Masséna. Continue into the old town area, where you'll find the charming streets of Old Nice.

    Bus

    From Monte Carlo, head to the nearest bus stop, 'Monte Carlo - Casino'. Catch the bus number 100 that goes towards Nice. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Nice - Promenade des Anglais'. From there, walk towards the Promenade and follow it to reach the Old Town. You can also choose to walk up through the streets to the Old Town area, which is about a 15-20 minute walk.

    Walking

    If you wish to enjoy a scenic walk, start your journey at the Monte Carlo Casino. Head down Avenue de Monte-Carlo towards the coast, and then take the coastal path towards the French border, which will lead you to Nice. This is a longer route, about 2.5 km, and will take roughly 45 minutes. Follow the coastline until you reach the Promenade des Anglais in Nice. From there, you can walk towards Old Nice by heading inland through the bustling streets.
