By Car

From Ulaanbaatar, take the main road heading north towards Darkhan. Continue on this road for approximately 4-5 hours until you reach the town of Erdenet. From Erdenet, follow the signs towards Amarbayasgalant Monastery. The monastery is located about 30 kilometers east of Erdenet.

Public Transportation

From Ulaanbaatar, you can take a bus or minivan heading towards Darkhan. Once in Darkhan, you will need to transfer to another bus or hire a taxi to take you to Erdenet. From Erdenet, you can hire a local driver to take you to Amarbayasgalant Monastery, which is about a 1-hour drive east of Erdenet.
