Car
If you're driving from Ulaanbaatar, head west on the A-1 highway towards Khovd. After approximately 1,200 km, take the exit towards Bayan-Ölgii. Continue for about 300 km until you reach the town of Olgii. From Olgii, take the road leading north towards Altai Tavan Bogd National Park, which is roughly 150 km away. The road may be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Follow the signs towards the park entrance located at coordinates 48.4715711, 88.7177824.

From Ulaanbaatar, you can take a long-distance bus to Olgii. Buses leave daily from the central bus station and the journey takes about 30 hours. Once in Olgii, you can hire a taxi or take a local minibus to reach Altai Tavan Bogd National Park. The taxi ride will cost around 50,000 MNT (Mongolian Tugrik) for the 150 km trip to the park entrance.
