If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest city, Khentii. Head east on the A-10 highway towards the town of Buir. After approximately 80 km, you will reach Buir. From Buir, continue east for about 10 km on a dirt road that leads directly to Buir Lake, following signs or local guidance, as the area may have minimal signage.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, take a minibus (marshrutka) from Khentii to Buir. This service typically runs several times a day.
