Getting there

Car

From Karakorum, head northwest on the main road towards the Orkhon Valley. Continue for about 20 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Orkhon Waterfall, marked by a sign. Turn left and follow the dirt road for another 10 kilometers. Be prepared for rough terrain; a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Once you arrive, you will find parking areas near the waterfall.

Public Transportation

Start at the main bus station in Karakorum. Look for a shared minivan or bus heading towards the Orkhon Valley. The fare is approximately 5,000 MNT per person. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Orkhon Waterfall. Once you arrive at the drop-off point, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the waterfall. Be sure to ask locals for directions if you're unsure.
