Once in Baruun-Urt, follow the signs toward the Aimag road leading northeast. Continue for about 40 km until you reach the junction at the town of Hentii. Here you will need to make a left turn onto the road leading towards New Barag Right Banner. Stay on this road for about 30 km until you reach the Kerulen River, located near the coordinates 48.8° N, 117° E.
Public Transportation
From any location in Kherlen River Basin, make your way to the nearest bus station. Buses run frequently to Baruun-Urt, and the fare is approximately 5,000 MNT. Upon arrival in Baruun-Urt, you will need to take a local taxi (which costs around 15,000 MNT) or arrange for a shared minivan that goes towards New Barag Right Banner. The travel time from Baruun-Urt to New Barag Right Banner is about 1 hour. Once you arrive, the Kerulen River is accessible by a short walk towards the coordinates 48.8° N, 117° E.

The taxi will take the same route as the car, heading towards Baruun-Urt and then to New Barag Right Banner.
