Car
From the town of Khovd, head northwest on the main road towards Bayan-Ölgii. After approximately 70 kilometers, you will reach the town of Khöshöö. Continue on the road for another 20 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for PRFP+PPV. Follow the dirt road for about 5 kilometers, and you will arrive at Khovd Gol Mine. Make sure to have a reliable vehicle, as some parts of the road may be rough.

Take a minibus or shared taxi from Khovd to Bayan-Ölgii. Buses depart regularly from the central bus station in Khovd. The journey takes about 2-3 hours and costs around 5,000 MNT. Once you arrive in Bayan-Ölgii, you can hire a local taxi to take you to Khovd Gol Mine. The taxi ride will cost approximately 10,000 MNT and take about 30 minutes. Make sure to negotiate the price before getting in.
