If you are traveling by car from Lake Khövsgöl, first take the main road (A-1) south towards Ulaanbaatar. The drive is approximately 600 km and will take around 10-12 hours depending on road conditions. Once you reach Ulaanbaatar, follow the signs to the city center. Look for Sukhbaatar Square, as the State Opera and Ballet Academic Theatre is located on Sükhbaatar’s Talbain Street, just a short distance from the square. Parking may be available nearby but can be limited, so plan accordingly.

For public transportation, take a bus or minibus from Lake Khövsgöl to Ulaanbaatar. The bus station in Khövsgöl is located near the center of town. Buses leave several times a day, with a typical fare ranging from 15,000 to 25,000 MNT. The journey will take approximately 12-15 hours. Once you arrive at the Ulaanbaatar bus terminal, you can take a taxi or use local public transport to get to the State Opera and Ballet Academic Theatre. Taxis are readily available and should cost around 5,000 to 10,000 MNT to reach the theatre from the bus terminal.
