Walking
Start from the central square, Sukhbaatar Square, which is a popular landmark in Ulaanbaatar. From Sukhbaatar Square, head southeast towards the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. Once you reach the theatre, continue walking straight on the main road (Peace Avenue) for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by various shops and cafes along the way. Keep walking until you see the intersection with Chinggis Khaan Avenue. Turn right onto Chinggis Khaan Avenue. After approximately 500 meters, you will see the Museum of Natural History on your left. The Stone Lion Statue is located at the Museum Gate, right in front of the museum.
Public Transport
If you prefer to take public transport, start at Sukhbaatar Square and walk to the nearest bus stop. Look for bus number 11 or 20, as these buses travel towards the Museum of Natural History. Board the bus and pay the fare (usually around 500 MNT). Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the stop closest to the Museum of Natural History. From the bus stop, walk a short distance towards the museum, and you will find the Stone Lion Statue at the Museum Gate.
