Car
If you're traveling by car and are less than 50 kilometers from Yellowstone National Park, start by following the local roads toward the park entrances. The most commonly used entrances are the North Entrance (Gardiner, MT) and the West Entrance (West Yellowstone, MT). Use GPS navigation or a map to guide you directly to either entrance, based on your location. Be aware that there is an entrance fee of $35 per vehicle, valid for 7 days. If you plan on visiting multiple national parks, consider purchasing an America the Beautiful Pass for $80, which grants access to all national parks for one year.
Public Transportation
