Car
If you are driving from the Flathead Lake area, start by heading south on MT-35. Continue on MT-35 until you reach the junction with US-93. Merge onto US-93 South towards Missoula. After approximately 15 miles, take the exit for MT-212 towards Charlo. Follow MT-212 into Charlo, where you will see signs for Ninepipe National Wildlife Refuge. The refuge is located just a few miles west of Charlo. Turn onto Ninepipe Road, and you will find the entrance to the refuge. There is no entrance fee for this wildlife refuge.

Public transportation options are limited in this rural area. However, you can take a Greyhound bus to Missoula, Montana. From Missoula, you would need to arrange for a taxi or a rideshare service to take you to Ninepipe National Wildlife Refuge, which is about 35 miles away.
