Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Polson. Head east on 1st St E toward Main St. Turn right onto Main St. Continue onto US-93 N, following the signs for Kalispell. After about 1.5 miles, turn left onto Irvine Flats Rd. The Polson / Flathead Lake KOA Holiday will be on your right at 200 Irvine Flats Rd, Polson, MT 59860. Look for the KOA signage.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Polson / Flathead Lake KOA Holiday using public transportation, you can take a bus to the Polson Bus Depot. From there, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service, as public transport may not go directly to the KOA campground. The distance from the bus depot to the KOA is approximately 2 miles, so a taxi will cost around $10-$15. Be sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time to ensure you arrive at a convenient time.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle in Polson. Start from the downtown area and head east on 1st St E. Turn right onto Main St, then take US-93 N. Once you reach Irvine Flats Rd, turn left and continue until you see the KOA on your right. The bike ride is about 2 miles and offers scenic views of the Flathead Lake area.

• Walking

  If you are staying close to the center of Polson and prefer walking, you can walk to the Polson / Flathead Lake KOA Holiday. Start by heading east on 1st St E towards Main St. Turn right onto Main St, and continue walking until you reach US-93 N. Follow US-93 N for about 1.5 miles until you get to Irvine Flats Rd. Turn left onto Irvine Flats Rd, and the KOA will be on your right. This walk is approximately 2 miles and should take around 40-50 minutes.
