  If you are driving to Yellow Bay / Flathead Lake State Park from any location within Flathead Lake, you will want to head towards Montana Highway 35. For example, if you are in the town of Bigfork, take MT-83 N towards MT-35. Once you reach the intersection with MT-35, turn left onto Montana Highway 35. Continue on MT-35 for approximately 10 miles. The park entrance will be on your right at 23861 Montana Hwy 35. Look for the park signage along the way. Parking is available on-site.

  For those relying on public transportation, check local bus schedules for routes that head towards Bigfork. The closest major bus station is in Kalispell. You may need to take a bus from Kalispell to Bigfork, which will drop you off near the town center. From there, you can either walk (approximately 5 miles) or use a rideshare service to reach Yellow Bay / Flathead Lake State Park.
