From Kalispell, head to the Flathead Transit Center located at 40 1st Ave E. Board the Route 3 bus heading towards Bigfork. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the stop closest to Highway 35. From there, you can walk approximately 1 mile east along Highway 35 to reach Yellow Bay / Flathead Lake State Park at 23861 Montana Hwy 35.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike shops in Kalispell. Start at the center of Kalispell and head east toward Highway 35. Follow the bike path along the highway, which will lead you directly to Yellow Bay / Flathead Lake State Park. The ride will take about 40-50 minutes, depending on your speed.
