From downtown Great Falls, walk to the nearest bus stop at 1st Ave N and 9th St N. Board the Great Falls Public Transit Route 1 heading towards the airport. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at 10th Ave S and 57th St S. Here, transfer to Route 2 towards Malmstrom AFB. The bus will take you directly to the Air Force Base. Disembark at the Malmstrom Air Force Base stop. The Malmstrom Museum and Air Park is a short walk from the bus stop; proceed to the main entrance of the base and follow the signs to the museum.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in downtown Great Falls. Start from the Civic Center and head east on 1st Ave N. Continue onto 10th Ave S and follow the road southeast towards Malmstrom Air Force Base. You will have to navigate around the perimeter, so ensure you have a map or GPS. Lock your bike at the visitor center where you can access the Malmstrom Museum and Air Park.

For those who enjoy walking, start at the Great Falls Public Library. Head east on 1st Ave N toward 10th St N. Turn left onto 10th St N and continue until you reach 10th Ave S. Turn right and walk southeast towards Malmstrom Air Force Base. The walk is approximately 3.5 miles and will take about 1 hour. Upon reaching the base, follow the signs to the Malmstrom Museum and Air Park.
